About the Event

The National Law Enforcement Museum is proud to announce its first-ever art exhibition, a display that celebrates the creative expression and transformative power of art by law enforcement officers.

Running September 2024 – August 2025 in the museum’s DuPont Gallery, Officers as Artists: The Creative Expression of Those Who Serve is a showcase of officers’ creativity and artistic talents. The exhibit highlights how art has been an integral part of who they are as individuals who also happen to be officers or, for some, how art has been instrumental for them as they navigate a complex profession, critical relationships, and process traumatic experiences they have endured head-on.

Through this exhibit, the museum aims to shed light on the role of art and discover the many ways in which creative expression serves law enforcement officers.
